Why Do You Need to Change Icon Sizes in Windows 10?

We both know how obvious the answer is 😏.

If you don’t know the answer, here you go:

1. To See Clearly

When you make an icon size bigger, the icon will be very visible to you which can help you see the icon text more clearly unlike when you make it smaller.

2. Creating Space for More Icons

If your icon size is too large, you would know that it takes a lot of room or space in that location and you won’t be able to view so much icon all at once. When you make your icon smaller, you have created more space for other icons and now you can view more icons all at once.

Where Can I Change Icon Size in Windows 10?

In Windows 10, icons are not located in just one location. Windows 10 has a lot of applications, folders, files, and shortcuts, and many of them have their own unique icons.

But, when you consider changing your icon size either smaller or bigger, there are four locations involved:

  1. Desktop
  2. Taskbar
  3. File explorer
  4. Display settings

These locations are the major places your icons are and you can change the icon sizes of each of them.
